Title of Image

Whiskey Jacks are cheeky little birds. We were on the Fairview Loop near Lake Louise when we sat down for lunch. It didn't take long before we were spotted by a Whiskey Jack who started dive bombing us, trying to get our sandwiches! The little guy started screaming at us and soon was joined by his buddy. Eating a leisurely lunch was impossible! They were swooping in, snatching at our food. One would act as a decoy while the other flew in for the next attack. They'd come in feet first, grabbing at the food - it was all I could do to fend them off! They look cute, but I tell you, they are not to be trifled with!

A print of this cheeky Whiskeyjack hung in our family home in Jasper for many years. It spoke to everyone who came to visit. My mother lost her home to the fire recently and I would love to replace it with the original.
